STEM Yard will start Computer Programming Online Classes in Aug. 2020.

In the past few months, all businesses have been negatively influenced by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Following government guidelines, our after-school classrooms in Cliffwood Plaza have been kept closed since the middle of March 2020.

After a period of preparation, STEM Yard has decided to teach programming online.

Face-to-face teaching produces the best results given the nature of learning programming. Because programs usually need to have their issues fixed (debugged) in unique ways, real-time help from teachers is necessary. Evidently, having a small and interactive class is best for both teaching and learning. We will maintain our current teaching style by having small, interactive classes in real time with dedicated support for each student. We will organize discussions, presentations, and demos for students.

STEM Yard plans to start  the following computer programming online classes from Aug. 1st to 28th, 2020.

Each 1.5 hour-long class would be held 2 times per week, for 4 weeks, or 8 times (12 hours) in total.
